When to travel ?
Mar to May is a fantastic time to be in Sikkim as the rhododendrons and orchids are in full bloom making for a spectacular sight. June to Sept is Monsoon season when roads are often severely damaged so best avoided but Sept to Nov are great times to be in country, particularly for trekking as skies are clearer and you will enjoy wonderful views. Temperatures are cooling down from the summer months as the region heads into winter. December to February brings heavy snowfall and cold temperatures.
