24 Dec: Arrival in Kathamandu
Langtang RI Representatives will welcome groups
at the Kathmandu Airport with a banner and drop
them at the hotel. After check-in at the hotel
and refreshments, LRT office management
personnel and a guide will formally introduce
themselves and provide a trip briefing. Group
members should submit 2 passport size photos
plus a copy of their passport and a copy of
Travel insurance to the office personnel.
25 Dec: Mt Everest Flight & Sightseeing tour in
Kathamandu (B)
Mountain flight is one hour flight takes you the
Eastern Himalayan Ranges of Nepal; It offers a
panoramic view of the highest peaks in the world
including Mt. Everest. This flight operates only
in morning time.
After breakfast Sightseeing tour to Kathmandu
Durbar Square including Kasthamandap temple,
house of living Goddess Kumari and Swyambhunath
stupa, Boudhanath Stupa and Pasupatinath Temple
26 Dec: Morning Sightseeing at Patan & fly to
Chitwan BD
After Breakfast, Excursion to Patan city
including Palace area. The city is believed to
have been built during the reign of Vira Deva in
299 A.D. In Patan it is possible to admire the
architectural look of temples: Krishna Mandir,
Jagat Narayan temple consecrated to Lord Vishnu,
Kumbheshwar Mahadev , Hiranya Varna Mahavibar
and Mahaboudha, Mangal bazaar and other visits
of Tibetan Refugee camp.
Afternoon 30 minutes flight to Chitwan.
Subtropical land of Terai is one of the few
remaining habitat of Royal Bengal tiger and
great one horned rhinoceros, small herd of wild
elephants are occasionally seen t 309 species of
birds including gangetic dolphin, waterfowl -
both migratory and residential including two
species of crocodile. Meeting & briefing of the

which have their source in the glacial

29 Dec: Early morning Sarangkot & Sightseeing &
evening fly to Kathmandu BD
Early Morning drive Sarangkot, to observe the
panoramic view of northern mountains as well as
Pokhra Valley. Annapurna range and overlook the
valley of Pokhara to enjoy the eye fast of the
east. A view tower has been built in the top of
Sarangkot hill at an elevation of 1,600 meters &
sightseeing at Seti Gandaki Gorge, Mahendra
Cave, and Devis fall. Aftenoon fly back to
Kathmandu. In the evening we will drive you to a
farewell dinner with cultural dancing.
30 Dec : International Departure B
All too soon it's time to bid Nepal farewell and
one realizes that we can never be intimate, only

through bank. A non-refundable deposit of 10
percent must be paid at time of booking and
booking form must be completed.
- Final payment is due 30 days prior to
departure.
- Travel insurance with unlimited medical cover
is compulsory for all trips to Nepal.
- A visa for Nepal is to be obtained prior to
departure from your home country, or it can
obtained in the Kathmandu airport. Please note
your passport must be valid for a minimum of six
months after your return and two additional
passport-size pictures are required.

itinerary, but as this is adventure travel in a
remote mountain region we cannot guarantee it!
Weather conditions and the health of trekkers
can all contribute to changes. The guides and
their Sherpa assistants will try to ensure that
the trip runs according to plan, but please be
prepared to be flexible if necessary.
Accommodation on the trek & Food
You will be accommodated in teahouses while on
the trek. These are simple, local-run
guesthouses with twin-share or single rooms.
Toilets and showers are of varying standards.
Typical food available for lunch and dinner is
Nepali rice & lentils, pasta, potato dishes,
soups or pizzas. Delicious pancakes, porridge,
toast and eggs are the main breakfast fare,
while tea, coffee and hot chocolate are always
available. You will probably be pleasantly
surprised at the variety of food at the lodges.
Physical Fitness
There are a lot of steep ascents and descents on
the trek and a good level of fitness is
required. Some days you may be required to walk
up to six hours. Please note that the estimated
walking time each day will vary according to the
overall fitness of the group and weather
conditions.
Footwear & Clothing:
Bring well broken-in walking shoes, suitable for
snow; thick socks, light socks, camp shoes; down
or fiber filled waterproof jacket and pants;
sweater or fleece jacket; underwear; warm and
cotton or polypropylene pants or jeans; shirts
and T-shirts; shorts; long underwear; wool hat;
sun hat; gloves; bathing suit; comfortable
track/gym suit.
