Outline Itinerary for Grand Nepal tour

24 Dec: Arrival in Kathamandu
Langtang RI Representatives will welcome groups at the Kathmandu Airport with a banner and drop them at the hotel. After check-in at the hotel and refreshments, LRT office management personnel and a guide will formally introduce themselves and provide a trip briefing. Group members should submit 2 passport size photos plus a copy of their passport and a copy of Travel insurance to the office personnel.

25 Dec: Mt Everest Flight & Sightseeing tour in Kathamandu (B)
Mountain flight is one hour flight takes you the Eastern Himalayan Ranges of Nepal; It offers a panoramic view of the highest peaks in the world including Mt. Everest. This flight operates only in morning time.

After breakfast Sightseeing tour to Kathmandu Durbar Square including Kasthamandap temple, house of living Goddess Kumari and Swyambhunath stupa, Boudhanath Stupa and Pasupatinath Temple


26 Dec: Morning Sightseeing at Patan & fly to Chitwan BD
After Breakfast, Excursion to Patan city including Palace area. The city is believed to have been built during the reign of Vira Deva in 299 A.D. In Patan it is possible to admire the architectural look of temples: Krishna Mandir, Jagat Narayan temple consecrated to Lord Vishnu, Kumbheshwar Mahadev , Hiranya Varna Mahavibar and Mahaboudha, Mangal bazaar and other visits of Tibetan Refugee camp.

Afternoon 30 minutes flight to Chitwan. Subtropical land of Terai is one of the few remaining habitat of Royal Bengal tiger and great one horned rhinoceros, small herd of wild elephants are occasionally seen t 309 species of birds including gangetic dolphin, waterfowl - both migratory and residential including two species of crocodile. Meeting & briefing of the activities, Lunch & activities like Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk / Nature walk with Boat ride.

27 Dec: Jungle Safari activities BLD
Wake up call followed by tea/ coffee. Bird watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle walk. After breakfast Crocodile walk, walk through grassland and forest upstream of the Narayani River. Board boats to observe crocodiles along the banks while floating back to the camp. After Lunch activities like elephant Safari /Jungle Walk / Visit
Observation Tower / Nature Walk with Boat Ride. Evening dinner with followed by (Tharu stick dance) Cultural activities.

28 Dec: Drive to Pokhara BL
Wake up call followed by tea/ coffee. Activities like Bird Watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk & Drive to Pokhara. The Pokhara is one of the most picturesque spots
of Nepal. Its beauty is enhanced by its lakes, which have their source in the glacial
region of the Annapurna range of Himalayas. Once can feel it, taking boat ride.

29 Dec: Early morning Sarangkot & Sightseeing & evening fly to Kathmandu BD
Early Morning drive Sarangkot, to observe the panoramic view of northern mountains as well as Pokhra Valley. Annapurna range and overlook the valley of Pokhara to enjoy the eye fast of the east. A view tower has been built in the top of Sarangkot hill at an elevation of 1,600 meters & sightseeing at Seti Gandaki Gorge, Mahendra Cave, and Devi’s fall. Aftenoon fly back to Kathmandu. In the evening we will drive you to a farewell dinner with cultural dancing.

30 Dec : International Departure B
All too soon it's time to bid Nepal farewell and one realizes that we can never be intimate, only acquainted, with this amazing Himalayan adventure.

Mode of Payment & Booking Conditions
- We accept cash, credit card and payment through bank. A non-refundable deposit of 10 percent must be paid at time of booking and booking form must be completed.
- Final payment is due 30 days prior to departure.
- Travel insurance with unlimited medical cover is compulsory for all trips to Nepal.
- A visa for Nepal is to be obtained prior to departure from your home country, or it can obtained in the Kathmandu airport. Please note your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months after your return and two additional passport-size pictures are required.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region we cannot guarantee it! Weather conditions and the health of trekkers can all contribute to changes. The guides and their Sherpa assistants will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if necessary.

Accommodation on the trek & Food
You will be accommodated in teahouses while on the trek. These are simple, local-run guesthouses with twin-share or single rooms. Toilets and showers are of varying standards. Typical food available for lunch and dinner is Nepali rice & lentils, pasta, potato dishes, soups or pizzas. Delicious pancakes, porridge, toast and eggs are the main breakfast fare, while tea, coffee and hot chocolate are always available. You will probably be pleasantly surprised at the variety of food at the lodges.

Physical Fitness
There are a lot of steep ascents and descents on the trek and a good level of fitness is required. Some days you may be required to walk up to six hours. Please note that the estimated walking time each day will vary according to the overall fitness of the group and weather conditions.

Footwear & Clothing:
Bring well broken-in walking shoes, suitable for snow; thick socks, light socks, camp shoes; down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and pants; sweater or fleece jacket; underwear; warm and cotton or polypropylene pants or jeans; shirts and T-shirts; shorts; long underwear; wool hat; sun hat; gloves; bathing suit; comfortable track/gym suit.
