Everest Base Camp Charity Trek

As as one of the major responsibility to be practiced in all the organizations Langtang Ri Trekking has a strong philosophy of supporting local people, events and programs. We can offer our services in Nepal at discounted cost to promote a charity trip and raise funds as you deem sufficient for your chosen charity. We can tailor any program for you from trekking, rafting and mountain biking to jungle tours, paragliding trips and cultural programs. Langtang Ri Trekking is big supporters of the local community & Children. We believe in giving back something to ensure a promising future for the children of our country. We support various projects in and around Kathmandu ,by running our own charity trip through which we have set up good example in Gorkha & Kathmandu.

From April 2008, we have managed 55 students to provide them basic education. 30 of these students are from remote areas of Gorkha and 20 from Kathmandu Valley . Our projects support each student’s education which includes: tuition fees, school uniforms, examination fees and stationary. All the students live at home with their families and attend a school which they feel most convenient to them.

Involvement in charity treks and tours means you are contributing to the fund raising programs for the Education of Children. The profit generated from such trips will be donated to schools.

We will form a group of different individuals & couples of common interests in doing such trek & will organize it in a fixed time. Your are always welcome for the inquiry regarding the date of trek. We are sorry for inconvenience but it is the only way to increase & save the profit .If you have your own group comprising at least 4 people then we can arrange the program to depart at any time other than the set dates.

Langtang Ri Trekking, on behalf of Homes Nepal, is very grateful for your support in the project. For More information Please visit

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee it! Weather conditions and the health of trekkers can all contribute to changes. The guides and their Sherpa assistants will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if necessary.

Experience Required :This Trek is suitable for keen walkers who are able to walk for 6 – 7 hours in a day, with a light rucksack. Some of the days are quite long, and the walking feels more strenuous at altitude. Generally the trail is a good track, but occasionally it will be uneven and rocky.

Food & Accommodation : You are accommodated in teahouses whilst on trek. A teahouse is a local run guesthouse, but standards vary enormously. In popular areas such as Everest, teahouses are more like hotels, with hot water, Western food and private rooms

Recommended equipment list :Trekkers need to provide their own personal clothing and equipment. Some items of equipment are available for hire from us as like Sleeping bag and Down Jacket

Footwear : Well broken-in walking shoes - these must be suitable for snow, thick socks, light socks, camp shoes.

Clothing : Down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirts, shorts, long underwear, wool hat, sun hat, gloves, bathing suit, track suit.

"Have a wonderful Journey!!!"
