15 Dec   : Welcome to Kathmandu  .Overnight in Hotel
Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel; here you will be formally introduced to your Guide and the activities to be enjoyed over the next few days.  We will also ask for your passport photographs and any other details required for your trek permits, at this stage.

16 Dec   : Sightseeing in Kathmandu .Overnight in Hotel B
After breakfast, you start an interesting tour around Kathmandu. We will arrange a guide of your chosen language to give you a tour and introduction to our rich culture amongst our ancient and fascinating history and religion. In our sightseeing tour you go to Monkey temple Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath and Kathmandu Durbar square. Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath (Hindu pilgrimage temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square9 home of living goddess & ancient royal palace & Baudhanath( biggest stupa in south asia).

17 Dec : Fly to Lukla & Trek to Phakding(2610m) .Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m.) which takes about 40 minutes, then trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640 m.) which takes approximately three hours following a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi. 

18 Dec  : Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)   Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
The trail continues north up the Dudh Kosi valley to Jorsale, where the trail officially enters the Sagarmatha National Park.. We continue along the trail, cross the Bhote Kosi River and climb steeply to Namche Bazaar 3440 m. Remember to look out for glimpses of Mt.Everest early on the trail.

19 Dec   : Rest day in and around Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
The main aim today is to allow your body to acclimatise, it is important to drink lots of water and take some gentle exercise.  Namche is a growing town tucked into a neat little valley, there is lots going on in the centre with market days on Friday and Saturday.  There are some interesting museums and shops.  There is also internet and a sauna!  You could venture further afield, take a visit to Khumjung where the Hillary school sits and Khunde nearby, on the way back to Namche you could visit the Shyangboche airstrip, (3790m) the highest in the world nearby is the Everest View Hotel for stunning views.

20 Dec   : Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867m) Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
There are various trails leading out of the village of Namche, your guide will show you the most appropriate, you are most likely to enjoy excellent views of Ama Dablam and Everest amongst others along the way though.  From Sanasa trail descends to Phunki Thanga from where you have a 2 hour climb to Tengboche steeply at first but soon levels out.  You will come to a stone gate which marks the entrance to Tengboche, the religious centre of the Khumbu region.  Overall today will take approximately 5 hours.

21 Dec   : Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m) Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
Leave Tyangboche and the Khumbu mountains as a backdrop and descend to a rhododendron-covered area to emerge in a pleasant level area. Pass a long Mani-stone wall to enter the village of Dingboche.  From here, the walk is fairly moderate as you enter the Imjatse Valley beneath the mighty peaks of Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Lhotse with views of the eastern snow capped mountains including Island Peak (6,189m).

22 Dec   : Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m) Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
A little more than five hours today and you will travel through Periche, Dugla and enjoy fantastic views.  Lobuche is well protected from the elements.

23 Dec   : Lobuche to Everest Base Camp(5160m)  via Gorakshep (5545m) Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
You will ascend gently to begin with today through lovely pasture lands; you will then follow the rocky moraine path with views of the Khumbu Glacier.  Gorakshep is on a flat field below Kala Pattar (5545m) and My Pumori (7145m), it is the original Everest Base Camp.   A good spot for lunch after 2/3 hours walk, following lunch you can continue up to the present Base Camp.

24 Dec   :  Gorekshep- Everest Base Camp –Lobuche(4910m) & X-MAS EVE CELEBRATION BLD
Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep, it takes about seven hours.  Trek up the valley following the rocky moraine path and see icy glacial ponds and icebergs of the Khumbu glacier down below. X-mas eve celebration will provide delicious food and wonderful moments seeing incredible views of immense, snowy mountains. You can experience traditional lifestyles and diverse customs of the friendly highlander people.

25 Dec    : Lobuche to Pheriche(4240m) Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
The trail descends to Pheriche at ; it takes about five to six hours of walking from Lobuche.

26 Dec    :  Pheriche to Tengboche (3860m) Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
Enjoy a morning visit to the research center. Then you trek back to Tengboche, an easier descent passing through rhododendron forest. It is a small village with a famous monastery offering you the splendid view of Ama Dablam, green hills and river views.

27 Dec   : Pengboche to Khumjung(3780m) Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
There is great chance to explore Yeti skull at Khumjung Monastery, visit School which it has built in the cooperation by Sir Edmund Hillary, Also possible to visit Kunde hospital and you can enjoy with stunning views of snowy mountains
28 Dec   : Khumjung to Phakding  Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
Descent steeply back to the Dudh Kosi river and continue our way past the national park checkpoint at Monjo. From Monjo we will go through forests of magnolia, giant firs and rhododendrons to Chomoa, the site of an agricultural project. We cross the Dudh Kosi river to its west-bank and continue our way down to Phakding .

29 Dec    : Phakding to Lukla (2840m) Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
The last day of your trek leads from Phakding to Lukla. The trek is pleasant, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote-Koshi River cross. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring you to Lukla for your overnight stay.

30 Dec    :  Fly to Kathmandu .Overnight in Hotel B
You will be on an early flight back this morning, on arrival in Kathmandu you will be met and taken to your hotel.

31 Dec    : Sightseeing at Bhaktapur Overnight in Hotel B

Enjoy a day exploring some of the quieter streets of Kathmandu, stocking up on souvenirs and presents for those back home.  This evening you have a farewell dinner, you will be picked up in good time.
