Just finished a trek in Helambu with Langtang Ri, and had a great time! Everything was organised very well and we didn't encounter any problems whatsoever. We had originally planned to go to do the Langtang trek but decided (after a lot of discussion) to go to Helambu instead to avoid long days in a bus. Langtang Ri was very flexible with everything and our guide Phurkel and porter Dipak were very professional and helpful. All in all a great experience and we can recommend Langtang Ri anytime. Also the Helambu trek is very beautiful, although best to do soon as a new road construction will propably change the landscape in the next years.

The Langtang Valley Trek was amazing and the guiding perfect ... changing from rainforest to grassland and then snow all in a few days was special ... the tea houses and meals were great. We made a 3week trek from Beni to South Dolpa with Langtang-ri. The trek was very demanding and interesting. The porters and guide were exceptional,they never complained and were always smiling regardless of the conditions, which were sometimes very difficult. the food during the trip was provided by the guide and porters and was excellent. We can highly recommend Langtang-ri for any trekking and we will be using them in the future.

Very enjoyable and relaxing 17 days in the Himalayas. We did Kala Pathar/E.B.C and Gokyo Ri in February. The guide and porter were fantastic, very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. They also taught us a Nepalese card game to keep us entertained at night next to the fire. One of us had some breathing problems and both the guide and porter were very helpful and ensured that our safety was ok and we still did the full programme. We had one day of very strong winds and another with snow, in these hard conditions they continually ensured that our safety was ok and assessed the risks.

We had a wonderful holidya in Nepal for four days. This was possible due to the personally professional arrangements made by Langtang RE. Things worked with clock like precision, and was were supported by ever smiling guides of Langtang RE. We had to cancel our trip to JOMSOM, since the flight was canelled due to bad weather. However the speed at which Langtang Re reacted and made an equally attractive plan, including hotel accomodation, transport and sight seeing, has to be reallt appreciated. We are lucky to have been refferred to this agency. It would be inappropriate if we do not mention regarding the dynamic but pleasesant Ms. Pamfaa, the managing director of Langtang Re, who had taken personal interest in planning our trip. Wehope they will contnue to prvide such good services days in the coming days also.

We spent 3 weeks trekking in the Khumbu region - Gokyo, Cho La Pass, Gorakshep and then finally over to Island Peak. Thanks to our guide, Dawa, who was patient, fun and took the time to tell us about the region. We had the chance to discuss what we wanted to do each day and to change the itinerary along the way to better suit us. Dawa helped us when we felt sick, and we could never have made the summit of Island Peak without his help - awesome feeling! We achieved a beautiful and very diversified trek in the Kanch area. From Taplejung we went up to Kanch BC (very cold), then to Olangchungola (super nice village) via Nango La pass. Unfortunately the pass to Thudam was closed, so we went down back to Taplejung. Everything concerning logistics went fine: flight tickets, buses, permits, etc. A special thanks to Langtang Ri for very quick and professional arrangements. In less than 2 days we had everything done.

Package Name: Kanchanjunga - South Base Camp

we completed the circuit Taplejung-tseram-oktang-Ghunsa-Taplejung in 10 days except the first day (rain), we walked about 8 hours per day. this trekking is really wonderful, probably the best I have ever done, in this style. Landscapes are incredible and vary a lot, including subtropical forest, small villages with cultivated rice fields, rhododendron forest, narrow canyons and impressive high mountain landscapes. It was really wild, we cross no more than 5 or 6 groups of trekkers. we had a tent, that we used 4 nights, but basic accommodation is available in various places, so it should be possible to do it without tent. Similarly, we had a stove and dry food, it was convenient, but is not absolutely necessary. People was lovely all around the trek, we had a lot of contact with locals, sleeping in some houses, having lunch with them sometimes. Only one exception: we had a bad experience in the lower camping spot in Tseram, where we were obliged to give to the owner (drunk) 2000 rs for putting the tent one day there, just because we did not go to have dinner in his place -what we did not know we were supposed to do. we complained in the office of the katchenjunga conservation area, at taplejung, and expect something will be done to avoid this in the future, as it really damage the reputation of this wonderful place.

phurkel als guide war gut. die tour war sehr anstrengend, schoen ,gut aufgebaut fuer die hoehenanpassung. ein ruhetag vor der besteigung des Island Peaks haette mir den summit ermoeglicht. dies als empfehlung. was nicht in ordnung war, ist die Gruppe mit nur einem guide auszustatten. wir (teilnehmer) mussten Hannes ueber den renjo La schleppen um nach gockyo zu gelangen. das waere aufgabe der treckagentur fuer solche vorfaelle einzukalkulieren. was waere wenn sich jemand verletzt, und nicht weiterkommt? ... der Helikopterflug aus Lukla ware um ein drittel ueberbelegt, Leute sassen auf den gepaecksstuecken, keine sicherheit, dafuer 630 dollar zu verlangen ist schlichtweg Nepp, unakzeptabel glueck gehabt, nichts ist geschehen, sollte nicht der Leitfaden fuer solche Unternehmungen sein, grauenhaft

Dear Mrs. Dhamala, my wife and me were members of the Clearskies group, which had huge problems to get out of foggy Lukla. Before these significant problems, we got to know our guide D. P. as a very friendly, capable and reliable person, who managed together with Markus Amon our group in a very good way. All of the group felt very comfortable with him. Starting with the time in Lukla, D. P. had the difficult task to bring the group to Kathmandu on time. He showed us the options to walk or to try to catch the helicopter. Especially the three days on the landing platform he always tried to do the best for the group and took care, that all of us had an accomodation and food. We owed him, that we were the lucky persons, who could catch the heli and and reach the international flights to Vienna. We really like to say „thank you” for his patience and engagement. We also thank you, Mrs. Dhamala, for the organisation in Kathmandu, particularly to support us by bringing our stored luggage to the airport. For the future we`ll really recommend the collaboration Clearskies and Langtang Ri to everybody, who will start a trekkingtour in Nepal.

We had a really good time during the Helambu, Gosainkunda and Langtang trekking. Although the weather god was not with us the first week it all made up for it in the second week at Langtang. A fantastic experience - loved seeing the Tamang villages and culture, as well as the awesome scenery up the Langtang valley. I have just returned from my trek to Everest Base Camp, which turned out to be the adventure of a life time. One which I will certainly never forget. Another great trip with the Langtang Team. Super guiding and porters that have become like family now. We could not have improved on anything. One of the fab things is the flexibility we get. So when we decided to do an extra day trip to see something we wanted to do the guys made it easy for us to flex the rest of the walk including a new pick-up! Our children had so much fun with our guide and porters that they cried when they had to say goodbye! Langtang Ri are the best!

We really enjoyed our journey from Lhasa back to Kathmandu by car. We saw a wonderfull landscape and we were lucky about clear, but sometimes cold weather conditions. Our tibetan travel-guide , named Ketze, was a friendly and competent fellow. Our driver of the 4WD-car gave us every time a save feeling particular on the dirty roads around M.Everest. A pity was just that in the last two accommodations no running water existed. We think that the reason for that was the out-running travel-season with now minus-degrees Celsius in the night. All in all we feel our traveling well organized. In spite of the curious feeling at the border to PR China you know that you cannot go lost on your way home. We are greatfull for this amazing experience. Thank you.

Goeie trek gehad. De office regelt alles prima. Wel even goed doorvragen op wat wel en niet included is en welke kant je oploopt. De Helambu trek van 7 dagen die wij deden kan je het beste clockwise lopen. Er waren ook mensen die het de andere kant opdeden (omdat de gids daar toevallig al was?), maar dan heb je een aantal hele zware klim dagen. Accommodatie in de teahouses en homestays is leuk! Die heeft onze gids goed uitgezocht. Goed eten en leuk contact met lokale mensen. Tip is om prijzen goed te vergelijken van verschillende aanbieders en goed te bekijken of de alles inclusief optie voordelig is. Ik denk dat alleen gids en drager huren voordeliger was geweest. Aan de andere kant hebben we nu helemaal geen gedoe met betalen gehad. Veel plezier111

The trek was amazing! The organisation was great from the ease of booking through to the end. The guide realised our abilities and went off itinerary to give us a tailor-made trip that was more rewarding and fulfilling. Limi valley trek was very nice. Beautiful landscape, include with hot springs, waterfalls, atc. We spend excellent time on the mountains with friendly people from Langtang Ri Trekking. There is no so many tourist and people from villages was very friendly...

Bei unserem Mt.Everest BC-Trek hat alles super geklappt, unser Guide war nett und gut informiert und alles verlief wie vereinbart. Insgesamt macht die ganze Agentur einen vertrauenswuerdigen und gut organisierten Eindruck (nicht vom schaebigen Eingang abschrecken lassen). Wir waren rundum zufrieden und koennen Langtang Ri nur weiterempfehlen! Viel Spass beim Trekken!

generally speaking we enjoyed the trip very much, we were 2 families with kids and the trip was well orgenized and when changes were needed - it was made with no issue.few things to improve for next time : bycicles should not be taken out from the city itself because the trafic is very dangeruse, its better to have the bycicles ready for the group in a spot that is out in the nature. escorting car in the treck should have a sufficient solution for rain to carry the lagguge and people- dry and in comfort(instead of getting everything wet). guied in the treck was more of an orgenizer and did not explain anything - its better to have someone who knows how to explain too. by the way the guied in Bakhtapur - was very good. thanks again for everything and we hope to come back soon.

We had a real perfect trek! We were very satisfied with our crew (porters, kitchen boys, cook and the two guides). The camping sites were well chosen, at some places we were lucky to stay alone. The food was delicious and even sometimes too much....Above 3000m the nights were long and cold, but the mornings were exceptionally beautiful and let us forget our freezing. The length of our daily walks were well calculated. The atmosphere was good and we laughed a lot. Especial was our last evening when we had a farewell dinner together with singing and dancing. Thanks to Langtang Ri Trekking for this very special holidays!!

Itinerary was well prepared but it could be done in 18 days without any trouble.

We had booked a 7N/8D package for Nepal and it was very well organised. We had included Kathmandu/Chitwan/Pokhara in our itinerary. The hotels were Yak & Yeti, Rhino Residency & Fulbari Resort respectively. At every point, the vehicle and person was waiting at the scheduled time. The hotels were excellent and staff courteous. An english speaking guide was with us throughout the trip. The whole trip was planned very thoughtfully and because of air-travel between ktm-chitwan and pokhara-ktm, we lost minimum time in traveling and maximum in sightseeing. Only regret, for Pokahara, one day was simply not enough. The resort itself was so big and then so many places to see. So we will come again, skip ktm and go straight to Pokhara. Do paragliding and 2 seater plane ride. Thanks for evrything
