Mountain Biking – Lakuri Bhanjyang Forest Trails

Half-day mountain biking in the Lakuri Bhanjyang Forest 15km east of Kathmandu. This is a fantastic mountain biking location that offers a mix of intermediate and challenging trails through terraced hillsides and unspoiled protected forests. The scenery, birdlife and exhilarating bike trails make this a fantastic heart-pumping extra adventure to add to your Nepal experience.

Bird Watching – Royal Botanical Garden

Half-day bird watching in the Nepal Royal Botanic Gardens, Godavari Forest east of Kathmandu. This location is a twitcher’s delight with well over 100 species of birds recorded in the garden, many endemic to the Himalaya and sub-continent. The morning chorus of hundreds of exotic birds will make a wonderful memory of your Nepal visit.

Rock Climbing – Nagarjun Hill

Half-day of rock climbing on Nagarjun Hill west of Kathmandu.
