Ghorepani/Poonhill Trek in July
Tourism in Nepal varies vastly according to different seasons. There is high inflow of Tourist in Autumn and Spring and less inflow in Winter and Monsoon. Even in winter the inflow of tourist is starting to increase but in Monsoon the Streets of Thamel can be seen almost emply with very few tourist to be seen.
The main dilemma people face when coming to Nepal during monsoon season is that, you would get wet, the surroundings would be very muddy and during trek you way not witness mountain view. This is not completely true. There are lot of ways to get past the rain and mud and about the view, you can witness fantastic view of mountains even in winter.
This winter we have had lot of groups from different countries including China who have gone to Ghorepani/Poonhill trek and have had a wonderful experince with amazing view of the Himlayas throughout the journey and expecially magnificant view from Poonhill where you get a Panaromic view of the Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri Range and Manaslu Range.
Nepal is a beautiful country with glorious natural beauty with rich culture and heritage and there is absolutely no reason you should not stop yourself from visiting Nepal even is the so called "Off-Season".
