Nepal is ready for you!Everyone in Nepal has been very busy rebuilding. Now we are ready and keen to welcome visitors once again.
The Himalayan Mountains are still there and their scenic grandeur is just as grand as ever. The air services, roads and trails are all working as normal. All our guides, porters and staff are also ready to help you explore Nepal by trek, tour, mountain bike or even paraglider. Nepal is open for business!

Nepal needs to see you – soon!

You might be thinking you would be helping the nation of Nepal and its people by keeping out of the way and not visiting us just yet. But that is wrong. The very best thing you can do right now to help Nepal is to come visit us – very soon. Our economy and millions of local people depend upon international visitors. From hotel and teahouse staff to aircraft mechanics or the people who grow and supply the food visitors consume, they all need visitors to Nepal. Every one of these people would like to see you walking our trails and visiting our temples once again.

How about an Everest Trek?

The Everest region is absolutely open for business. The Lukla airport is functioning normally. Daily flights are back to normal and even the Internet is working!! Namche Bazaar is also ready and waiting for you and so are all the little villages throughout the Gokyo and Khumbu Valleys. Some teahouses have suffered degrees of damage, however there are so many trekking accommodation options, from luxury to budget throughout the Everest region, that treks are being conducted right now and the capacity to handle many many more visitors is enormous. So this is a great time to book a trek and explore the Everest region.

How about trekking Annapurna?

Daily flights to Pokhara are operating normally. The Annapurna region, both the main Annapurna Sanctuary and the area to the north encompassing the Annapurna Circuit trail were hardly affected by the earthquake. So it is trekking and touring as normal here. The stunningly gorgeous snow-capped Annapurna mountains are just as gorgeous as ever and there is plenty of accommodation in every village and lots and lots of local people waiting to welcome you.

How about getting really adventurous?

Fantastic and little-visited wilderness regions such as Dolpo in the western districts and Kanchenjunga in the far eastern district were also unaffected. These places offer some of the most fantastic wilderness exploration trekking in the entire Himalaya. The people of every little village would love to see you and our guides are keen to take you there.

So book soon!

Please contact us here at Langtang Ri very soon and let’s plan your next Himalayan experience. Everyone wants to see you. So please book soon and you will be helping Nepal and its people.
