About 38 km east of Kathmandu, located in Kavre District lies an Important Buddhist pilgrimage called Namoboudha, which lies in top of a hill in Panauti. This holy site tells the tells of a Great price named Mahasattva who offered his own body to a starving Tigress and its cubs who were on the brick of death. This story is depicted in a stone stab which is found inside the Namoboudha. After Having your breakfast, we drive towards Panauti which is located 35km east of Kathmandu. The drive to Panauti is around one and half hour long. Panauti is a very old newar town which also have a very old history. From Panauti we follow the uphill trail forward north - east direction and the trail narrows. We cross a suspension bridge and pass through many small villages with lot of farm lands, which is also a good view to see the agricultural lifestyle of the rural people in Nepal. After reaching Namoboudha we have explore the monastery and also have lunch. After lunch we will start our hike towards Dhulikhel. The hike offers beautiful scenery and also the hike itself is quite relaxing and refreshing. After reaching Dhulikhel, we can either decide to stay there for the night or drive to Kathmandu.

Trekkers need to provide their own personal clothing and equipment. Some items of equipment are available for hire from us as like Down Jacket
Footwear : Well broken-in walking shoes - these must be suitable for snow, thick socks, light socks, camp shoes.
Clothing : Down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirts, shorts, long underwear, sun hat, gloves, track suit.
Other equipment: lock, day pack, water bottle, sun cream, sunglasses, flashlight with spare bulbs and batteries, lip salve.
Other items: Insect repellent, toilet articles, diary, toilet roll, pocket knife, towel, sewing kit, plasters, binoculars, camera, film, cards and personal medical kit.
