Champadevi hill named after Champadevi temple which is residing at the top of the hill and also other Buddhist stupa which has made this serene spot as religious hub that also yields the exhaustion of the hiking with the rapturous vision of the snowy peaks Langtang, Gaurishankar, Jugal, Dorje Lakpa from the top of the hill.
Champadevi hiking which is top destination for the nature lover but trekking is not cup of tea can be accessed from the Kathmandu after about 1 hour drive to Pharping crossing another sacred religious temple Dakshinkali then hike begins following the gradually uphill trail amidst lush pine forests playing the hide and seek with few animal species and bird species after exploring ancient Pharping monastery and take refuge at the top on the embrace of the nature for 2 hours and follow descending another trail that leads to Kirtipur another medieval town that captures glorifying history.

Footwear : Well broken-in walking shoes - these must be suitable for snow, thick socks, light socks, camp shoes.
Clothing : Down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirts, shorts, long underwear, sun hat, gloves, track suit.
Other equipment: lock, day pack, water bottle, sun cream, sunglasses, flashlight with spare bulbs and batteries, lip salve.
Other items: Insect repellent, toilet articles, diary, toilet roll, pocket knife, towel, sewing kit, plasters, binoculars, camera, film, cards and personal medical kit.
