During the festival, Janaki temple is decorated as the wedding palace through twinkling lights and idols of Lord and Sita are ornamented as bridegroom and bride reviving the atmosphere like in genuine marriage. And special wedding ceremony is organized between the idols of the Ram and Sita following all the wedding rituals according to the Hindu religion.
According to mythology, Sita and Ram got married during Treta Yug and their marriage is based on courageous or charismatic model where Lord Ram got married with Sita breaking the Shiva bow while stringing the bow according to announcement of King Janak, who has declared that only such suitors would be suitable to be bridegroom of his daughter who could be able to string thread on the Shiva Bow which his daughter Sita has carried unknowingly while doing household chores.

After breakfast, check-out at the hotel and drive to Swoyambhunath temple famed as monkey temple; world heritage sites located on top of hill offering chance to have the scenic vision of the complete landscape of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath Temple that sits atop a high hill overlooking Kathmandu and the entire Kathmandu Valley. Swayambhunath is perhaps the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal.
Then descend from Swoyambhu stepping the 365 stony steps and drive for almost 1 hour to reach Pashupatinath, artistically crafted world heritage sites nestled on the bank of pious Bagmati River where devotees take religious deep on the dirty water of the river to purify their body. Pashupatinath is considered by Hindus to be an auspicious site for passing from one stage of life to the next through the purifying and destroying flames of cremation.
We will spend 2 hours visiting the several shrines, temples wandering the paved path the temple premises. Then after having lunch at some restaurants then drive for almost 45 minutes to reach Boudhanath, the religious hub also known as little Tibet. Bouddhanath is a Buddhist religious complex with a history dating back over 500 years. Located on the eastern edge of Kathmandu it is now a site of great pilgrimage for Buddhist followers who circle its massive stupa, spin its many prayer wheels and visit its beautiful monastery.
And at last drop you to the hotel at 4:30 pm. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

During the journey, you will enjoy the scenic beauty of the green hills, terraced farm and many more. Janakpur; a sacred place for Hindu devotee and former kingdom of King Janak; father of Sita who got married to Lord Ram of Ayodhya. On arrival check-in at the hotel and feel relaxed. Evening visit to Janaki temple. Overnight stay at Janakpur.

After breakfast, check-out at the hotel and participate in the auspicious festival of Bibaha Panchami where the marriage of Lord and Sita will be reenacted every year on this day. During the festival idols of Lord Ram and Sita decorated as bridegroom and bride making the environment like genuine marriage. Numerous pilgrims arrive at Janakpur from Ayodhya along with Idol of Ram being the part of the procession and as well as the witness of the wedding ceremony. Apart from being the participator of this grand ceremony we will do a sightseeing tour of Janaki Temple, Bibaha Mandap (Ram - Sita marriage venue), Ram Mandir, Ganga Sagar, and Dhanusa Dham and transfer to hotel. Return drive to Kathmandu from Janakpur.
