Chisapani Nagarkot is the best short riding very near from Kathmandu valley. Those who are looking for very short tripand do not want to go far from valley Chisapani Nagarkot is the best choose. It is three days trekking take through beautiful villages, Himalayan scenery and beautiful jungle at countryside. Chisapani and Nagarkot both are hilltop station near from Kathmandu are popular for panoramic views of Langtang, Everest and Ganesh Himalayan range. It is good choice of taking taste of Nepal.
There will be pre trip briefing by your guide before you start your cycling. Today you will start your ride from your hotel with guide. The way contains a mixture of terrains, tracks uphill, flow single tracks and double tracks, flat sections and technical sections. Before lunch the ride is mostly downhill and after lunch it's mostly uphill. Lunch will be at around 12-1pm in Mulkharka. After lunch there is a big climb of about 2-3 hours to Chisapani. Chisapani is a village with local lodges where we'll spend the night. In the morning you'll have a nice view of the sunrise and surrounding mountains.
Today you will start to ride after breakfast. This route is similar to the one ridden on the first day, with a mix of double tracks, single tracks, and technical sections, uphill and flat sections. Before lunch you will ride through Sivapuri National Park, which is mostly downhill. After lunch there will be a climb to Nagarkot on jeep tracks. Nagarkot is famous for its sunrises, mountains and beautiful landscape. There will be plenty of opportunities to observe local lifestyle and culture and for photos along your ride.
After having breakfast in Nagarkot with beautiful sunrise, we start biking on paved road till Telkot Danda and we follow a jeep track but off road towards Changu Narayan Temple; one of oldest temple in Bhaktapur. The trail brings us to Changu Narayan, where Newari artisans carved beautiful stone carvings of lord Vishnu in the sixth century. We continue downhill by winding tarmac road to SanoThimi known for its pottery and traditional masks and back to Kathmandu .
