Religious and cultural festivities form a major part of the lives of people residing in Kathmandu. Tourism is an important part of the economy as the city is the gateway to the Nepalese Himalayas. There are also seven casinos in the city. In 2013, Kathmandu was ranked third among the top ten upcoming travel destinations in the world by Trip Advisor, and ranked first in Asia.
You will be warmly welcomed by our representatives at Tribhuvan airport and driven to hotel. Check in hotel and take some rest then according to arrival schedule, driven to Swoyambhunath or monkey temple; religious Buddhist site residing on the top of the hill spreading the message of peace and serenity. And spend almost 1 hour at the Swoyambhunath and drive to hotel for overnight stay.
Early morning drive to Tribhuvan airport domestic terminal mountain flight. After a one-hour scenic mountain flight to World’s highest peak Mount Everest then you will be picked up from the airport. Then we have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast check-out at the hotel and drive you for 1 hour to reach World heritage site Pashupatinath nestled at the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. Pashupatinath; dedicated to Shiva is golden colored two-storied pagoda temple along with silver-plated doors and wood carving is on the bank of the Bagmati river.
After spending almost 1 and ½ hours then drive to another destination Boudhanath famed as little Tibet taking almost 35 minutes. The biggest stupa of Nepal built during the fourteenth century is the hub for meditation and pilgrimage sites for Buddhists and other visitors also.
Finally, drive for 2 hours to reach another destination Bhaktapur durbar square; place recognized for the golden gate; entrance to 55 windows palace, taleju temple, and Nyatpole temple; highest brick temple, along with Juju dhau (sweet curd) and is untouched by modern city lifestyles. It is also famous for wooden carved handicrafts. We will visit the pottery square of Bhaktapur also.
And finally, drive to Nagarkot for the overnight stay.
Early morning ascends to Nagarkot's viewpoint for the dazzling vision of the sunrise above the silvery snowy peaks. Then have breakfast at the hotel and drive to Kathmandu and take to Narayanhiti museum; the main residence of Nepalese monarchy for centuries until 2008 later changed into museum exhibits belongings of former royalty.
For almost 1 hour explore the museum and drive to World heritage site Kathmandu durbar square named Basantpur durbar square; the hub of culture, tradition, religion is a historical site that embraces palaces and courtyards of old Malla and Shah Kings dates back from 14 to 15 centuries onwards. And we will have our lunch at the restaurant nestled at the premises of the durbar square.
Finally, drive to the hotel overnight.
We will drive to the airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.
