Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The Langtang Ri Trekking & Expedition representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After your refreshment, you will be picked up from your hotel and will be formally introduced to your trekking guide. We will go through all your trek itinerary and arrangements with you to ensure every detail is in place. We will also ask to bring your passport, extra passport photographs, and a copy of your travel insurance.
After breakfast, we start our journey setting out for Pokhara; a natural paradise blessed with nature’s treasure and gateway for famous trekking destinations and lies 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. We drive for six hours’ to reach Pokhara and during the journey enjoy the breathtaking vision of the terraced rice field, an amazing landscape, and serene Trisuli and Marsyandi River. Overnight at the Pokara.
After breakfast, drive to Kande passing Sarangkot taking almost 1 ½ half hours then start birding trek from Kande through beautiful forests to reach Thulo Kharka aka Australian camp. During the 2 hours trek, you can see migratory raptures, especially during the autumn and winter season. Overnight at the Australian camp.
We continue the trek on the trail via rhododendron forests; a sanctuary of the different bird species including raptures. During the trek we pass through farmlands, tiny but beautiful villages Tolkha and Landruk and rewarded with the fabulous vision of the Annapurna range, to reach for the camping overnight.
After breakfast, trek on the gradual uphill path crossing the Modi river till we reach Ghandruk village; famous for the spectacular vision of the Himalayan peaks from a closer distance then continue the ascending trek to reach Bhaisi Kharka for the overnight at camp. During the 5-6 hours trek, we can Thrush birds along with other species of birds and encountering several animals gaining an altitude of 600 meters. Overnight at the Bhaisi Kharka.
After breakfast, trek through the forest and down to the creek and along the creek before making a climb. During the gradual uphill trek, via forest explore birds such as Thrushes, Bullfinch, Yuhina, etc. with wildlife such as Himalayan Grey Langur and Muntjac, etc. Overnight at the Deurali.
We continue our birding trek to Banthanti from Deurali where en-route enjoy captivating glimpses of the Annapurna range on the left side and the green hills on the right side. Overnight at the Banthanti.
We trek from Banthanti to Birethanti from where we will catch a private vehicle for the return drive to Pokhara. Overnight at the Kathmandu.
We will drive to Kathmandu from Pokhara taking almost 6-7 hours. Overnight at the Kathmandu.
We will drive you to the airport for the departure according to your scheduled flight.
